hey everybody, i recently turned 100% natural middle September 2009 and wont be turning back to kitchen-chemical-heaven. however i was wondering is 5 inches of hair bad? i mean for 8 months being natural? someone help me. I'm 13.5 cm stretched out if your wondering.

Your hair has growth periods and rest periods. You cannot ';make'; your hair grow faster. You can just properly take care of it. Keep build up off your scalp, wash regularly with a non-residue shampoo, make sure there are no split ends, make sure the ends are not dry, eat right, and drink lots of water.
If you are doing all these things then chances are this is the way your hair grows. Natural hair is a journey so enjoy the ride and be patient.
